Bio
Matthew Tapia begins his fourth season as equipment technician for the Cougars in 2025.
Tapia's duties includes handling the storing, issuing, receiving and repairing of athletic equipment for the college's 17 intercollegiate athletic programs.
Prior to arriving at the college, Tapia worked with the William S. Hart Union School District in a student support role for more than 15 years.
Tapia, his wife Megan and daughter Veronica live in the Santa Clarita Valley, where he has resided for more than 40 years.
