Panthers and Cougars End In A Draw

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons and Chaffey College finished Wednesday's game in a 1-1 draw in a non-conference match up.

Both team's keepers gave up a penalty kick in the second half of the game to complete the draw.

Alex Burkevics, COC's goalie, had four saves on the afternoon, including a great save on Chaffey's first penalty kick of the afternoon. COC earned its first goal in the 79th minute on a Hany Helmy kick that went the opposite way of Chaffey's keeper.

COC will travel to San Diego City College on Tuesday, Sept 6 for a 3 pm game.
