GLENDALE, Calif. – College of the Canyons earned a second-straight draw against Glendale Community College ending 0-0 on Friday night.
Both teams were held scoreless but COC outshot the Vaqueros 13 to 6 over the 90 minutes of play.
COC goalkeeper Steven Rodriguez earned his first clean sheet of the season, saving two Glendale shots on goal.
Glendale goalkeepers Julian Ortega and Abraham Orozco were a bit busier in front of their goal, needing to turn away five COC shots.
The draw drops College of the Canyons' record to 2-1-2 (0-0-2 in conference play).
COC will next hit the road to face Santa Barbara City College on at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23.
