Cougars Win Seven In A Row, Defeat L.A. Valley
The College of the Canyons men's basketball team remaied undefeated in conference play and extended their winning streak to seven games, by defeating LA Valley, 78-69 on Saturday afternoon.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The College of the Canyons men's basketball team remaied undefeated in conference play and extended their winning streak to seven games, by defeating LA Valley, 78-69 on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore guard Jaylen Bland continued his outstanding play as he scored a game-high 23 points and also had five steals.
The Cougars shot 45 percent from the field and the Monarchs shot 40 percent from the field.
COC led 68-67 with three minutes left to go in the game, before going on a 10-2 run to secure the victory.
Sophomore forward Tyler Barber had 17 points and sophomore reserve Jawhar Purdy had 10 points.
COC will travel to Citrus College on Wednesday, Feb. 6 for a 5 p.m. tip-off.
